Our highly skilled craftsmen have styled this exclusive piece of Jewellery with prefect precession and care, inspired by the Sun and its central role in everyone’s life.

What better choice than choosing paddy-based seeds for creating this beautiful hand craft; as rice is one of the most important staple foods in India.  Discs made of cream-colored paddy are the central attraction. A set which comes with a beautiful line of necklace, arranged like a sun disc in various sizes with crystal like studs intricately fused with the design.  The two-tiered earring reflects the versatility of the rural artisans and surely exudes sophistication matching with the modern day trends in jewellery making.

Why Jungle Jewels? What Jungle Jewels?

Cliched questions. For any startup. Any industry. Any product. Any service.

But answers in a nutshell:

• Passion for eco-friendly products 
• An entrepreneurial spirit to see if we can make an ounce of a positive difference to lives of those around us! 

Those 2 things have gotten us to where we are right now with Jungle Jewels.

Roll back to 2008. We were running an eco-park in Viduthalaipuram, a small village 35 kms away from Trichy, Tamilnadu. Back then, our focus was on eco-conservation, ecological knowledge transfer, and a few other jargons sure to put you to sleep in a second. :) 

But one important other thing we were focussing on was poverty reduction in the local community. And one such initiative was a 'training session' - where we had some experienced craftsmen come from different parts of the country and train local villagers in various crafts such as making dry flowers, potpourri etc. 

And in that session lies the story of Jungle Jewels.

Few women from the village who were being trained in making dry flowers, potpourri gathered around sitting on the floor. They then started lining up paddy and a few assorted seeds in a spectacular form.

The result - an insanely creative looking earring. We patted them on their backs. Said 'Fantastic creativity. Brilliant designs.'

But didn't just stop at that! 

2 things came to our mind immediately:

• These are so natural! So eco-friendly!
• These have the potency to generate employment in the local community

And that's how Jungle Jewels started. The day this dream was born!

2 years of rigorous research, designing, re-designing, more re-designing, training, quality maintenance, packing, marketing, yada yada yada.... 

What followed those 2 years of toil will remain with us forever:

• Spectacular public appreciation of the products
• Undying love and loyalty of craftlovers
• Higher-than expected sales
• Superb increase in community's livelihood

And most importantly, after seeing the appreciation we received from our customers, a miracle happened! 

Our artisans started making every single piece of jewelry with a sense of pride and ownership! They don't just look at it as an employment opportunity! 

And till today, we have taken the Jungle Jewels Experience to thousands of customers in India, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, France and Singapore! 

And now, we're bringing it to you!And we are proud of that!
